Welcome to the Summer Festival of Oka~

Every august there is a huge festival in and around Oka were people celebrate the Summer and enjoy games and rich food~
Locals as well as hundreds of visitors travel here each year to enjoy the view of fireworks and colorful lanterns.
A variety of all different kinds of dishes are served and the air is heavy with the delicious smell of roasted Octolotle~

🎆Fireworks🎆

Oka is known for its bright and colorfull fireworks that change every year~
With each new year new shapes are added this year the shape of Fruites and Flowers are pretty poular!

👘Kimono👘

Another tradition are the Kimono that come with all kinds of pattern each fitting the Nym that wears it~
A CORE fitting pattern is most popular but not a must and even lil Sprouts can be seen dressed up in tiny Kimonos!

🏮Lantern Parade🏮

During the evening Nyms group together to parade throu Oka showing off their selfmade Lanterns and dance to the music played by giant drums and flutes.

👺Yokai Hunt👺

Once the sun goes down and the lanters are lit the Yokai Hunt starts in the big Bamboo Forests around Oka. 
It's a game for yound and old Nyms alike and everyone has a chance to win a nice price~
Alone or in a group of two, Nyms go into the forest to find a Yokai and get it's Omamori, a little amulet that is said to bring luck to the owner. 
The Yokai must be persuaded to trade its Omamori for something else! Anything can be traded may it be a shiny rock or a delicious Dango~
Once the Yokai accepts the offer the trade is official and the Nym will receive the amulet~

Usually the Yokai are other Nyms disguised, but some participants swore they saw something else in the bamboo forest and some even encountert strange creatures!
