700 years after the extinction of humans, earth has gone back to its ‘roots’. Due to radiation and boundlessness, plants started to grow much faster and bigger creating a utopia for all kinds of flora. Soon some plants began to evolve and mutate, merging with animals to further expand their evolution until they became what we know as Nymdrya.
Nymdrya are a humanoid plant species . After centuries of transformations they came to be one of the most populated species that live all over Gaia, as they named their new world. Living in colonies, they build their own villages and cities, forming their own language and writing. They are still far from modern technology, but they don’t even need it because Nyms have their own unique ways to go about things.
Finding lost human technology in overgrown ruins Nymdrya learned a lot from their past predecessors and to not make the same mistakes as they did. Nyms are still deeply connected with nature and their main priority is to protect it and guard their newly acquired freedom.
🔹🔷🔹The flow of MANA🔹🔷🔹
Once Gaia could recover from all the damage humans had caused it was able to get MANA to flow again. Mana is an old kind of energy that could be concentrated an used to create all kinds of things. Once even humans were able to wield its power, but less and less of them were able to use it and so Mana was forgotten and became a fairytale.
Nyms recovered the old knowledge of how to use Mana and some of them became Scholars who had the highest potential in using Mana for magic. Those Scholars are able to create magical items and Enchantments to help other Nyms on their daily life.
