Habitat
Tappys live near rivers and lakes, but there are sometimes found near the ocean shore as well.
They mostly sleep under water but get on land to hunt for food and roll around in mud.
Diet
For Tappys Bugs, Snails and Frogs are the most delicious food.
Their favorites are giant centipedes!
Thanks to their diet Tappys are poisonous to most predators.
Colors and Markings
Tappys come in all kinds of colors and markings.
Since they have only a few natural enemies they could care less about being flashy.
The bright colors are also a warning to predator.
