From the outside, Arvia appears to be a cold and icy place. Some may even mistake it for being uninhabitable by Nyms, however that couldn't be futher from the truth. Many Nyms native to Arvia have developed thick fur coats, or even blubber, to keep the warm and combat the chillier temperatures. Residents of Arvia have even made their homes out of the snow, choosing to live in igloos due to the natural sustainability of ice and snow.

Despite being a more remote location, Arvia has many nyms travelling from across Gaia to experience the natural hotsprings found on the edge of town. With the coming and going of various Nyms, businesses have utilized alternative materials acquired through trade routes in order to build accommodations for visitors that may not be equipped to handle the colder climate.
