Fungi CORE Nyms founded this city and used the enormous mushrooms to build their homes on top or inside. Even today most of the population consists of Fungi Nymdrya, but other Nyms have settled down here to study medicine in one of the biggest medical academies of Gaia.

Gutwald is not only home to all kinds of mushrooms, but has a vast variety of herbs and medical plants as well. Time had both herbs and mushrooms developed crossbreed species that inherited most of their beneficial aspects. This made some of them essential components of Nymdrya medicine.

Besides mushrooms and medicine, Gutwald is known for its good air and clear water underground caves. It’s a natural health resort for yound and older Nyms to recharge.
